i'm not very skilled with coding or design, so i use a fair amount of things to help myself out (: this is a list of things that i have credits for or recommend!
code help
- sadgrl.online has a lot of great references and material, including a basic layout builder
- codepen lets you see your code as you put it in, and i find it helpful for smaller projects and working on layouts.
graphics
- adopt a censor pandas. my site uses fa teen, and each panda has its own descriptor of what the individual meanings of the ratings are.
- blinkies.cafe lets you make custom blinkies off of some presets.
- geoblinkies is another place to find blinkies! just search your keyword (:
- gifcities is the same as above, but for gifs instead!
- 99gif shop has some cute fun gifs too, if gifcities is too much at once
- 88x31 buttons
- not a graphic per se, but a tip for saving gifs off tumblr.
- these are the strawberry dividers that i like to use
- gasara has a lot of free pixel resources that i think are too cute.
- i use waffle story for my title fonts, asdonuts for my regular font, and monofur for my update boxes.
- texture town has a bunch of different textures that're fun for backgrounds and to use as- proper textures!
- im using this dragon as my favicon
other fun stuff
- i use imood to add to my little statuses and all sorts of stuff. i think its too cute! and its also a nice way to check in with myself. self care is key.
- status.cafe is where i like to put up little statuses. i think its super nice to see everyone else's statuses too (:
